Glitter fonts that actually sparkle
Glitter text used to be everywhere on MySpace profiles and forum signatures, and the Y2K revival has brought it back. A “glitter font” you install on your computer stays still. The GIFs made here move: the glitter shimmers inside every letter, wherever you post it.
Where to use your glitter text
- Discord & Slack: upload the GIF as a custom emoji or post it in a channel.
- Neocities and Tumblr: paste the HTML code and your page gets an instant 2000s look.
- Forums and guestbooks: the BBCode tab is made for posts and signatures.
- Chats: save the GIF and send it on WhatsApp or Telegram.

FAQ
How do I make glitter text?
Type your text, pick a font and a glitter texture, adjust the size, angle and outline, then press “Create glitter GIF”. The preview on the left shows exactly how your animated text will look.
Is the glitter text generator free?
Yes, and it has been since 2008. You don’t need an account, nothing is stamped over your text, and the GIFs are yours to post wherever you like.
Will my glitter GIF link keep working?
Yes. Every creation gets a permanent link. Even if the file is cleaned from our cache, it is rebuilt automatically the next time someone opens it.
Can I use glitter text on Discord, Tumblr or Neocities?
Yes. Upload the downloaded GIF as a Discord emoji or a post image. For a Tumblr or Neocities page, copy the HTML code instead.
Why does my glitter GIF have a transparent background?
Transparent GIFs blend into any page. If you plan to post it on a dark or busy background, choose a solid GIF background colour or a white outline instead.
Can I type emoji or non-Latin letters?
The fonts are classic Latin display fonts, so emoji and most non-Latin alphabets won’t render. For sparkly copy-paste text with emoji, try the Sparkle Text generator.
