GigaGlitters.com is a free tool for making glitter text and glitter GIFs. We collect as little as possible. This page explains what is processed and why.

What you create

• Glitter text. The text and settings you choose are stored so your GIF link keeps working. The GIF file itself may be removed from our cache after a few weeks and is rebuilt automatically when someone opens the link.
• Unused creations. If a creation is never downloaded, shared or opened by link, its settings are deleted after 60 days.
• Photos. Photos uploaded to the glitter GIF maker are resized and re-encoded, which removes metadata such as camera details and GPS location. They are used only to build your GIF and are deleted 180 days after the last time the GIF was viewed.
• Share pages (/g/…) are hidden from search engines, but anyone with the link can see them. Don’t upload photos you wouldn’t want others to see.

Technical data

Like every website, our servers receive your IP address and browser information. We use IP addresses briefly to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and keep standard server logs for security.

Cookies, analytics and ads

GigaGlitters does not require an account and does not set its own tracking cookies. We use third-party services that may set cookies:

• Google AdSense shows ads that keep the site free. Google may use cookies to personalise ads. You can manage this at Google Ad Settings.
• Analytics (visitor counters) help us understand which features are used.
• Cloudflare protects and speeds up the site.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
