Glitter Backgrounds
Free sparkly backgrounds and wallpapers in 13 colors. Pick a color, choose fine, chunky or sparkly glitter, and download it in the size you need. Any custom color works too.
Glitter backgrounds by color
Each color has three shades in fine, chunky and sparkly glitter.
Made from scratch, not stretched
Every background here is drawn at the size you download. The maker lays down thousands of glitter flakes in different tones of the color you choose, adds shading so the surface has depth, then sprinkles bright glints on top. That is why a 4K download is as sharp as the phone one. Nothing is upscaled from a small picture.
Which glitter to pick
- Fine: smooth and dense, like glitter nail polish. The calmest choice for wallpapers with lots of app icons.
- Chunky: bigger flakes with more contrast, like craft glitter.
- Sparkly: star glints and soft out-of-focus lights. Looks best as a lock screen or behind a short caption.
Animated glitter for websites
For a retro page, a small repeating tile works better than a big image. The glitter tiles are the animated GIF textures from early-2000s sites, ready to use with one line of CSS.
